Day 67 Vence area

Today we decided to do a round trip in the surrounding hills behind Vence, the Routes des Crêtes, following the D2210, D2209, D1 roads through the hillside/top villages of Gattieres, Carros, Le Broc,  Bouyon, and Coursegoules, before doing a short walk on the GR51 track near the Col de Vence. At the pass there were superb views toward the coast taking in the heights that we can see from our gite.

The drive was along minor roads where the max speed much of the time as 40 Km/h, and then there were curbs and cyclists to dodge. Hair-raising for some, but I enjoyed it. Besides, my hair is already raised. This is what I came to Provence for and I am truly gratified to have had this experience.
